ExpressNet: Text Is Missing, Garbled or Streaked when the Scroll Bar is Moved

ExpressNet:
Text Is Missing, Garbled or Streaked when
the Scroll Bar is Moved

Problem:
Some screens in ExpressNet are missing text (such as titles to the data entry fields).  Another thing that may occur is that, when the scroll bar on the right hand side of the screen is moved, the text that scrolls up writes over the old text without clearing it.  It leaves streaks across the screen.

Solution:
It appears to be related to the video display driver and video display type that are selected for the computer.   Testing seems to indicate that Internet Explorer 4 exhibits this problem when displaying Dynamic HTML pages, if the video driver and type are the Windows' Standard VGA or Super VGA generic display drivers.

Installing Internet Explorer 5 or greater seems to cure the problem.

The problem can also be solved by making sure that you have selected the correct video display driver and display type for your PC.

It is suggested that you be very careful about changing the video display driver and type.  iiX will not assist you in making this type of change.  We suggest that you contact your system administrator or computer support professional for assistance.
