Print Problem: Every Other Page Prints a Few Lines and Skips to Next Page

Print Problem:
Every Other Page Prints a Few Lines and
Skips to Next Page

Problem:
The following problem occurs while attempting to print an ExpressNet report:

When a report is more than one page long - every other page (page 2, 4, etc) prints only a few lines and then skips to a full page again.

Solution:
The problem is probably a Printer Setup issue.

  • Start Internet Explorer
  • Select the File option on the menu bar.
  • Choose Printer Setup from the dropdown list.
  • On the Printer Setup window, check the settings at the lower right corner for Top and Bottom.  If either of them is greater than .75 ( point seven five), reduce that setting to .75 or less.
  • Continue with printing the reports

We have also seen cases where the margins need to be reduced to .50 in order to print accurately. If altering the margins to .75 doesn't appear to solve the problem, then try setting the margins to .50 instead.
