ExpressNet:
Error Message: "You Have Attempted an Invalid Operation. You
May Not Change a Request in this Manner"

Problem: |
The following error occured after a user clicked
Save or Order in ExpressNet.
"You have attempted an invalid operation.
You may not change a request in this manner."
|

Solution: |
Most likely the user clicked the Back
button or used the History list in their Internet Explorer browser
to go back to a previously entered request. They then attempted to Save
or Order again from that screen. This is not allowed because of
the potential for duplication of orders.

If the original request was a Quicktime that
had already been filled, we cannot cancel it or credit for it.

If the original request was not a Quicktime,
but was filled from our Archive, we cannot cancel the request. Archive
fulfillment is immediate with ExpressNet.

Contact iiX Customer Support to see if we can
cancel a request for you. You cannot cancel a submitted request yourself.
We will attempt to cancel a request for you - provided it has not already
been filled, or provided it has not already been submitted to the state.
Once filled, or submitted to the state for processing, we cannot cancel a
request and you will be required to pay the associated fees.
