ExpressNet: How Do I Set Up An ExpressNet User for MVR's Only Mode?

ExpressNet:
How Do I Set Up An ExpressNet User
for MVR's Only Mode?

Question:
An ExpressNet user wishes to set up the program interface to MVR Only mode.  If you order only MVR reports, you may find this interface easier and quicker to use.

Solution:
To set up a user to access ExpressNet in MVR Only mode, follow these steps:

  • Log on to the ExpressNet service.
  • Select the menu bar button for System Settings.
  • Choose the option for Users from the lower menu bar.  The User Settings screen for the current user is displayed.
  • Scroll down the screen to the Presentation Mode field.
  • Click on the button at the end of the Presentation Mode box and choose the MVR Only option.
  • Click on the button labeled <Save Changes>
  • The first two menu options at the top of the screen should now read New MVR Requests  and  MVR Requests/Reports.

If you wish to change additional users to MVR Only mode, this can be done in two ways:

  1. Have each user log on to the ExpressNet service and follow the instructions above to change their process mode to MVR Only.
  2. Or, each user can be changed to MVR Only mode by the ExpressNet Administrator (or by anyone who knows the Admin Password). To change users other than your own:
    • Log on to ExpressNet and access the User settings screen, as described above.
    • Click on the button at the end of the User Sign-On box and choose the sign on ID that you wish to change.
    • Change the Presentation Mode to MVR Only.
    • Type your Admin Password in the Admin Password field.
    • Click <Save Changes>.
    • Repeat this process for all users that you wish to change.
