ExpressNet: How to Purge Reports From ExpressNet

ExpressNet:
How to Purge Reports from ExpressNet

Question:
ExpressNet users should Purge their old reports on a regular basis. How should I go about doing this?

Solution:
Purge old reports as follows:

  • Print any Unprinted reports before Purging.
  • Select the System Settings option on the ExpressNet toolbar.
  • Select the Purge option from the lower toolbar.
  • Use the option to Purge Reports Received More Than 0 Days Ago. (If you are going to Purge for all users, place a check in the Purge All Users box. Otherwise, the purge will only delete reports for you - the current user.)
  • Type in the number of days reports that you wish to keep - for example: 30 days.
  • Click the Purge Reports button.  The screen will refresh and display a message indicating how many reports will be purged. (This process could take several minutes if the number of reports is large.)
  • Click the Yes button to verify that you want to Purge the reports. The screen will again refresh and will then indicate how many reports were purged. (This process could take several minutes if the number of reports is large.)

Note:  iiX recommends that user's purge reports at least every 30 days.  If the volume of reports processed under a single account number is large (more than 200 per month), it is suggested that a Purge be done at least every 1 - 2 weeks.
