ExpressNet:
How Do I Keep the URL (website) Information from Printing
at the Bottom of My ExpressNet Reports?

Question:
How do I keep the URL (website), page numbers, and other information from printing on the top and bottom of the reports?

Solution:
The printing of this information is actually controlled by the printer settings.  Internet Explorer captures this information (which, at the top is the page name and at the bottom is the website address) and prints it as Header and Footer information.  To remove the print, the user should change the printer setting to eliminate the header and footer for the browser.

  • Click File
  • Click Page Setup
    • In the Header box, the &w prints the page name (upper left corner) and the Page&p of &P prints the page number (upper right corner).
    • In the Footer box, &u prints the URL (lower left corner) and the &d prints the Date (lower left corner).
  • Remove the items that you wish to do away with on the reports. If you want to remove all the header and footer information, delete all commands in both boxes.
  • Click the OK button.
  • Print the reports.

A note: This removes the header and footer information from any and all web pages that you might print.
