ExpressNet: "Warning - Page Has Expired"

ExpressNet:
"Warning - Page Has Expired"

Problem:
An ExpressNet user may encounter the following error message:

Warning - Page Has Expired

Solution:
The user has probably attempted to use the Back button on their Internet Explorer toolbar to access a page that they had previously viewed.

ExpressNet attempts to limit the user's ability to access previously viewed pages for two main reasons:

  • Using the Back button to access a previously viewed copy of the Request/Reports screen can result in the user seeing a copy of this screen that has not been updated with the latest request status information.
  • Using the Back button to access a previously submitted request form may result in the user accidentally duplicating a request - or - may give the user the mistaken impression that changes to previously entered requests can be made by using the Back button to re-access the request.
Always use the menu buttons and links provided by ExpressNet (not the browser controls) to navigate the ExpressNet screens.
