ExpressNet: How To Use ExpressFill

ExpressNet:
How to Use ExpressFill

Overview:
ExpressFill is an ordering process developed by iiX.   This process enables the ExpressNet user to enter a client phone number and request the system to search for the primary name and address associated with that phone number.  The results of the phone number search can then be used to order a combination Undisclosed Driver/VIN report. This combination report returns a list of names and Vehicle Identification Numbers associated with that search address.  The information on the UDI/VIN can then be used to "prefill" most of the data required to order MVRs, claims reports, and credit scores.

Note: These instructions should not be used unless you are taking advantage of the ExpressFill process!  If you are not using the ExpressFill phone search, these instructions may not accurately describe the screens and prompts you will see.

How to Use ExpressFill Phone Search:
  1. Click the [New Submissions] option on the ExpressNet menu bar.   The New Submission screen will open.
  2. Choose the appropriate company link (or the Non-Company Specific link) to begin the ordering process.
  3. When the New Submission for <CompanyName> screen opens, the cursor is automatically placed in the ExpressFill "Enter Phone Number" field.
  4. Type in the phone number (including area code) that you wish to search - example:  4095551212.  No hyphens or leading prefixes (such as a 1) are needed.
  5. Choose a Bill Code for the ExpressFill phone search (if desired) from the dropdown box located immediately under the phone number blank.
  6. Choose any of the Sponsored or Non-Sponsored report options that you wish to order.   (Click on the checkbox next to each report type you wish to order.)  If you do not check any items, you will still have the ability (later) to select any of the report options.
  7. Complete the Submission Name and Comment fields (if desired) and then click the [New Submission] button.
  8. A prompt message appears asking you to confirm the phone number search.  Click   [OK]  to continue with the search.
    • Note: If system traffic is particularly heavy it is possible that a response to your search request may take a few extra seconds to complete.  An Order Confirmation screen will be displayed if this is the case.  Choose the option "To check again for ordered reports, click here."
  9. The results of the Phone Search are displayed.  Confirm (if possible) that the address and name are correct.  If not, make any necessary corrections before proceeding..  Once you have verified or corrected the phone search information, click the [Order] button to order the UDI/VIN report.
  10. A prompt message appears asking you to confirm the name for the search.  Click   [OK]  to continue with the search.
    • Note: If system traffic is particularly heavy it is possible that a response to your search request may take a few extra seconds to complete.  An Order Confirmation screen will be displayed if this is the case.  Choose the option "To check again for ordered reports, click here."
  11. Once the search is complete, a "UDI/VIN Search Result" screen will be displayed.
    • Note: It is suggested that the information displayed be verified (if possible).  The information is obtained from available public records sources.   This data is not controlled by iiX and iiX is not responsible for the accuracy of the data.
  12. The first section of the Search Results screen will contain the name and address that was used to obtain the displayed results.
  13. Next, the screen will contain a list of possible drivers (if any) that were found for the search address.  Information about each will be displayed.  A checkbox is located next to each name. Click the checkbox next to each name that you wish to include in any additional A-PLUS or MVR report searches, or, click the [Check All Drivers] button to select the entire list with a single click.
  14. Next, the screen will display a list of vehicles found associated with the search address.  Click the checkbox next to each vehicle that you wish to include your A-PLUS Auto search (if A-PLUS Auto is to be ordered), or, click the [Check All Vehicles] button to select the entire list of vehicles.
  15. Immediately beneath the list of vehicles is a selection grid of additional reports that may be ordered using the information that has been found so far.  Click the checkbox next to each report type that you wish to include in further searches.
    • Note:  If you "checkmarked" any items at the beginning of the phone search process, they should still have checkmarks by them.  You may place checks next to additional items or uncheck previous items if you wish, at this time .
  16. When all the desired drivers, vehicles, and reports are chosen, click the [Continue] button to order the additional reports, or choose the [Cancel] button to stop at this point.  Note:  If you stop at this point, you may still access this data at a later time to continue ordering the reports.  See Footnote 1 below for instructions on re-accessing this data.
  17. If you chose to Continue in Step 16,  the next screen displayed is the Request Information page for  the reports you have selected to order.  Information from the UDI/VIN search results has been placed in the appropriate fields.  Complete any missing information or correct any information that is in error.  Select the [Order Request] button to place the order with iiX for these reports.
  18. An order confirmation screen will be displayed.  Click the link that reads: "To check the status of ordered reports, click here".   The Requests/Reports screen will be displayed.
  19. Locate the Submission Name in the left hand column.  The reports associated with the Submission Name will be listed on the next few lines.  You may view or print the reports one at a time using the underlined reports links next to each item, or you can print all reports at once by choosing the Print All Unprinted link at the beginning or end of the Requests/Reports page.
