Error 340 - "Control Array Element ' ' Does Not Exist"
 

Problem:

The following error message is displayed while attempting to print reports in Express for Windows™:

Error 340 - Control Array Element " " Does Not Exist

Solution:

In the AMSEXPW.INI file on the workstation where the error occurs, check to see what SortColumn (in the [Report Select] section) is set to.

  • In versions 2.20b or earlier, this value cannot be greater than 5.

  • In versions 2.30 or greater, it cannot be greater than 6.
