An Express for Browsers user may experience
problems viewing the program menu screens. Some screens in Express for
Browsers could be missing text (such as titles to the data entry fields).
Or, when the scroll bar on the right hand side of the screen is moved, the
text that scrolls up writes over the old text without clearing it - making
it look streaky or distorted. |

The problem appears to be related to the video
display driver and video display type that are selected for the computer. Testing indicates that Internet Explorer 4 exhibits this problem when
displaying Dynamic HTML pages, if the video driver and type are the
Windows® Standard VGA or Super VGA generic display drivers. On one of our test systems we installed Internet Explorer 5 and that seemed to cure the problem. The problem was also cured on our test system by making sure that we had selected the correct video display driver and display type. It is suggested that you be very careful when changing the video display driver and type. If you are not comfortable in doing so, contact your system administrator or your own computer support person. We will not assist you in making this change. If you have Express for Browsers 4.03 or earlier, contact iiX for the latest version of Express for Browsers. The CD for versions 4.04 and later contain the necessary setup files for installing Internet Explorer 5. |
