Scroll Bar is Missing in Express for Browsers

Scroll Bar is Missing in Express for Browsers

Problem:
There are no scroll bars on the right hand side of any Express for Browsers screens.  Therefore, some screens appear incomplete and are missing buttons or text.

Solution:
The scroll bars are controlled by files that are located in the x:\....\iiX\EfB\Images directory. These files are Custom Style Sheets or .CSS files. There should be 3 of the files in the Express for Browsers \Images directory.

If the files are missing from the \Images directory, or if the files exist but are corrupt, the problem with the scroll bar will occur.

If the files are missing or corrupt, they must be reinstalled.

  • Remove the Express for Browsers \Images directory.
  • Reinstall the Express for Browsers CD. (The database will not be replaced so existing data should be OK)
The CD must be used to reinstall for both Standalone and Server installations.  For Server/Network installations, rerunning the workstation setups will not solve this problem because the .CSS files are located on the server itself and must be reinstalled from the CD..
