"Unable to Load ODBC Installer .DLL. Install
Failed Post Processing File Transfer"

Problem: |
While attempting to install Express for
Browsers, the following error message is displayed:
"Unable to load ODBC installer.dll.
Install failed post processing"
In this case, the user was attempting to do a
Server installation.

Solution: |
The cause of the error was that the local
workstation (from which the Server install was being done) did not have ODBC
installed or an error occurred in updating the ODBC drivers on that
station.

Install Express for Browsers as a
Standalone on the workstation that does not have ODBC. That
should install the needed ODBC drivers.

Then, uninstall the Standalone
version of Express for Browsers (through the Control Panel |
Add/Remove Programs option).

Reinstall EfB using the Server
installation option - following the instructions for Server and Network
Workstation installs found in the installation documentation.
